Super Tokyo

Kanda river (Kandagawa) is a man-made river “made” to be a major water supply and water transportation in the edo period. Running from Inogashira Park to Sumida River, the river runs through various kinds of places in Tokyo with a stunning geographical transformation and accumulations of changes through time.

The research started from a survey, collecting the sections of that geographical changes to a deeper research on “an island” in Sotokanda.
